About this tour

An Unforgettable Birding Experience in the Heart of the Amazon

This expedition is dedicated to birdwatching across a variety of habitats. From forest canopies and dense jungle to wetlands and riverbanks, we’ll search for iconic, common, uncommon—and with luck, many rare—bird species in one of the most biodiverse regions on Earth. Our excursions will take place on foot, during both short and extended walks, as well as by motorized canoe for greater visibility. At times, we’ll paddle silently to access remote and undisturbed areas where birdlife flourishes.

You’ll be immersed in one of the most remote, pristine, and untouched corners of the western Amazon. Surrounded by endless, thriving nature, you can expect to encounter a wealth of wildlife beyond birds—primates, Amazon river dolphins, caimans, amphibians, insects, and more. You’ll also gain insights into the region’s plant life, including species used for food, healing, and traditional medicine.

Throughout the experience, you’ll be accompanied by expert local guides and Indigenous community partners. These moments of shared exploration will offer valuable cultural exchange and deepen your understanding of the region’s environmental, social, and historical context—past, present, and future.
