Travel the Amazon was born from a unique friendship between a Shuar-Quichua family and a Canadian adventurer, united by a shared passion for nature, culture, and exploration. Together, we built our lodge with our own hands—no outside investors, just dedication, love for the rainforest, and a vision to share the Amazon in a way that’s real, respectful, and rooted in purpose.

Our journeys go beyond traditional tourism. They’re immersive experiences that blend adventure, cultural exchange, and environmental awareness. The Amazon’s biodiversity and Indigenous traditions are extraordinary—but increasingly threatened by mining, deforestation, and industrial pressures.
