About this tour

Join our expert team on an all-inclusive adventure starting at Quito International Airport, deep into over 170,000 hectares of protected Amazon rainforest, managed in partnership with a Kichwa Indigenous community. This exclusive experience offers access to remote river systems and lagoons teeming with life and incredible fishing opportunities.

The highlight of the trip is fishing for the arapaima—an ancient and powerful fish that can grow over 2 meters (6.5 feet) and weigh more than 150 kg (330 lbs). These waters are home to very big specimens, and pursuing and catching one is an experience that can’t be compared. With guidance from expert anglers and local community partners, you’ll have the rare chance to pursue a new world record.

The trip also includes multi-species fishing for other Amazonian favorites like peacock bass, pacu, aimara, sabalo, and giant catfish. Our project promotes conservation through strict catch-and-release practices and uplifts traditional ecological knowledge, ensuring a sustainable future for the region.

Surrounded by one of the most remote and biodiverse areas of the western Amazon, you’ll not only fish in legendary waters but also witness incredible wildlife—from monkeys and macaws to river dolphins and caimans. This is more than a fishing trip—it’s a deep immersion into nature, culture, and conservation.
